Its Done!

Well, its done finally. By "it" I mean the blog. After two days of feeling like I was going to drown in HTML codes, I finally got it finished. Hope you like it! :)

So, the Super Bowl get together was great. I had a goal of not setting anything on the table that wasn't a healthy choice. It turned out well! Our menu included, Hungry Girl Southwestern Egg Rolls, a fruit and veggie tray, black bean and corn dip to go with veggie chips, hot and bbq chicken, bacon wrapped shrimp and pineapple kabobs and turkey taco soup. The chicken was a take off on traditional hot wings. Mistee grilled a few boneless skinless chicken breasts and topped them with either bbq or hot wing sauce. I then cut into bite size pieces. Same concept and flavor in a piece of non fried white meat. Jackpot!
Here's Buba getting his grub on during the game:

So the kids didnt feel left out, I included a couple of other things, like blue and white M & Ms and hot dogs. Overall,I was able to feel like I snacked right along with the rest of the bunch, had a great time and still stayed within my calorie guidelines for the day - Bonus!

Turkey Taco Soup before adding the water. I always love all the colors! And an overall shot of the goodies!
